- Some people call me a "Renaissance Woman," but I think that overstates reality a bit. I have lived, though, and I've definitely "been around" and "know a thing or two." I graduated from college (UC Santa Barbara) summa cum laude and a member of Phi Beta Kappa in 1972. Since then, I've been dabbling in grad school, working, having kids, watching kids leave, teaching, singing, dancing, etc.
